Constant conversations with customers and the enquiries we receive enabled us to create a list of the most frequently asked questions. We rush to answer these questions so that you are best prepared for your yacht charter!
1. What licence is accepted in Croatian waters?
In Croatian waters, at least the Certificate of Competency of Yacht Skipper and a VHF licence (for operating radio equipment) are required).
2. Which months are the best for a yacht charter?
The best weather is from the end of April until the last weeks of October.
3. What is included in the charter price?
Each charter company offers different packages. In the price of a yacht charter, we offer base berth, tender, outboard engine, towels, bedding, WiFi and Netflix.
4. What does the insurance cover?
Each client has to buy the insurance individually. We advise you to take out deposit and casualty insurance.
5. Do I have to make a deposit?
Yes, if it's bareboat. However, the amount of the deposit is nothing more than the franchise's contribution.
6. Is there a grocery shop in the marina?
Yes, and it's even within a short distance of 700 metres. At this point, it is worth returning to one of our blog entries, in which we describe the most interesting marinas in Croatia (click here).
7. How much earlier do I have to book a place in marinas?
It's best to do this as early as in April if, for example, you already have a confirmed charter date. However, if you make a decision in May or later, you should hurry to book your accommodation.
8. What do I have to pay extra for?
In addition to the standard charter price, you have to add the transit log costs. The cost is 250 € and is payable at the marina. Additional costs also include fuel, marinas and food.
